Setting up a version of HPAL in your area

The King's Fund report: Dying well at home: commissioning quality end-of-life care recommends that local systems should be supported to find useful and practicable ways for commissioners at ‘place’ level to engage with variability in primary care.

HPAL enables the clinicians and the public to quickly search for the best and most recent national and local information relating to palliative care, and to trust the sources chosen.

HPAL was founded by Harlington Hospice for North West London platform and this itteration of the platform was customised for Mid and South Essex ICS.

All of our content is nationally relevant and can be shared but customised:

  • Logos and colours can be changed
  • Our 'boroughs' can be changed to your 'place' names
  • Local service directories can be uploaded
  • Updates, newsletters and new content can continue to be shared across regions for the benefit of all

Please contact us if you are interested in commissioning HPAL in your area.
