The ICB has appointed a data processor to create and maintain the website and associated data collections on our behalf. The processor is Medindex. We collect personal identifiable information in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you register for the newsletter, submit a resource, contact us via email and in connection with other activities, resources and features available on our website. We may use this personal data to provide you with information or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you - where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes, and also to notify you about any changes to our website or services.

We use personal data collected to respond to your queries and to resolve any concerns. We will only use your personal data where we have a legal ground to do so. We determine the legal grounds based on the purposes for which we have collected and used your personal data, where it is necessary for us to understand our contributors and site users, to promote our services and operate our site efficiently for the creation, publication and distribution of content online. The legal basis that the ICB to process information in this instance is 6.1.a - Consent. By using the website, or contacting us via the routes available to it, you are consenting to the use of your data.

On behalf of the ICB as our data processor, Medindex use GDPR compliant third party software for reliable and secure newsletter delivery. We will not share your personal data with anyone else. Some of our webpages use social plug-ins or links to external organisations. These organisations may receive and use personal data about your visit to our site. We have implemented technical and organisational controls to protect your personal data against unauthorised processing and against accidental loss, damage or destruction.
