Opportunities for further training

These are just a few suggestions for further training in palliative and end of life care for all healthcare professionals.

The RCGP End of life and palliative care toolkit is a collection of recommended UK resources, quality improvement tools and learning networks.

The e-LfH End-of-life care for all (e-ELCA) programme consists of 9 learning modules on different aspects of end of life care, with different e-learning sessions tailored according to staff role.

The European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care is an eight-week home learning course for doctors, nurses and associated healthcare professionals with a handbook, accompanied by online materials and the support of a facilitator. Assessment is by a reflective portfolio, examination and viva.
